ABOUT SALASÄVEL
I am Janne Posti, a Finn residing in Haparanda, Northern Sweden. Salasävel is a vessel for my different music activities.
As a musician, I perform both live and on recordings. My instruments are vocals, guitar, piano/keyboard and bass. Genre-wise almost anything goes, from classical to metal to folk to jazz.
I compose, arrange, produce, mix and master in any genre out of Salasävel Studio, located in Haparanda.
INTEGRITY, QUALITY AND CREATIVITY
No matter what the occasion, integrity and quality are paramount for Salasävel. Music is an art form, and it deserves heart and soul as much as it requires craft and knowledge. I commit fully to all projects I agree to do, and I expect nothing less from everyone involved. Shit gets done, deadlines are kept, quality is high.
I pride myself in being creative and not just resorting to stock solutions. Whether we’re talking about chord progressions, choir voice leading, guitar sounds or compression ratios, I’m always on the look-out for the best possible match for the task at hand – so what, if it’s daring or unique? No one remembers a coward!
